Trauma Recovery

When the unthinkable happens, and you or someone you love is left picking up the pieces, getting quick access to high quality care and help is one of the most important things you can do. In the wake of a disaster or crisis, you may be left feeling isolated, hopeless, afraid, numb, depressed, anxious, or all of the above. You are not alone, even if you feel that you are; many others who have experienced what you have are going through the same feelings, and it’s possible to recover and go back to living your best life.

I have several years of experience providing therapy to people of all ages who have experienced trauma. If you need someone who is ready to listen to what you’ve been through and help guide you to healing with warmth, caring, confidence, and skill, then I am here to help you!

After a young child has experienced something traumatic, they will have some special needs that differ from what adults need. Specifically, children rely on their primary attachment figures to help them heal from trauma. Trauma recovery therapy, therefore, requires active and engaged caregivers to attend most, if not all, therapy sessions. You know your child best, and I’m here to help facilitate trauma recovery through you: the person they rely on most.
