I approach clinical supervision using the Reflective Supervision model, a type of supervision that emphasizes the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the supervisee to generate insight about and further directions for clinical work, rather than more traditional didactic supervision models. Originally developed in the early childhood mental health field, this model has since been formalized by Zero to Three.
I have several years of experience providing clinical supervision to clinical interns and both pre-licensed and licensed clinicians in a community mental health setting. It has been my pleasure to join new clinicians in their learning and development journey.
As an LICSW with 3+ years practice experience post-licensure, I am qualified to provide supervision for licensure to social work clinicians working towards their LICSW, and presently can provide some hours of supervision to clinicians working towards their LMHC. Always check with your licensing board to confirm that your supervisor has the appropriate credentials for your needs, as licensing requirements are subject to frequent change.
I offer a 30 minute free phone consultation to determine whether we would be a good fit for an enriching clinical supervision experience.
